My base gaskets are seeping. I am going to replace them and have never done this before. Looking for guidance on tips and tricks. What gaskets to use other parts and or gaskets i will need to replace or tools to make it easier. Hope someone can help..
First get a service manual for your bike. Follow the instructions in order. Read and believe. Get all the tools before you start. Then watch a few youtube videos of guys doing it. You will need to remove everything on top of the cases. Take your time. Label and store the parts separately not to mix them up. Use a good torque wrench. Use HD parts and sometimes Cometic gaskets. Don't try any shortcuts. Take closeup pictures all during disassembly and assembly. That way you'll know how it's supposed to look.
