Default Cam opinion

I am running a 12 RGU, se ac, 254e cam, Fulsac sport pipe, with Supertrapp Fatshots with 12 discs closed end caps. Looking at a cam change, don't want to yank the heads at this time, so stock compression is the base line. All types of riding including some 2up. Looking at 3 cam choices, the Andrews 57h, CR 575, and the Genesis 577. Any thoughts / opinions / experience with any of the three cams

Thanks

I think the Andrews 57 would be the best all around cam for your set up. The 577s have an intake close of 43 degrees and would really like to have a little extra compression - would be my choice if you were adding compression. The CR 575s favor the low rpms too much, and the durations seem a little on the short side.

Can't go wrong with Andrews 57's on many setups when compression is staying stock.

Thanks I'll take a look at the 48 and the torquester. Would a .30 head gasket raise the compression enough for say the 57. Haven't pulled a twin cam down, I did some evo's and a lot of shovels, lol?

The 48 or 222's are plug/play cams.
If your willing to pull the heads, you can establish much more.

Scott, thanks. I was reading on another forum where you mentioned the Woods tw5-6 with a 4* advance wheel. Is that a decent combo for a 103, or does that need a bump in compression.

Thanks again

That would be another home run, and would pop the torque up very well.
