Looking to upgrade my 103
Put the stage 4 pro kit in it and you wont look back, you will get heaps of performance straight up even with just a canned map from dynojet or fuelmoto or the SE one
Get all the kit, no need to go here for heads or here for a throttle body, just bolt it on and vrooom vrooom off you go
Thanks

Bloke just posted up how his stage4 is great in heritage 2010, another one rollin fine with it, similar bike to OP, you won't look back man,
Bolt it on, get a map and off you go, beautiful, so many have been installed and people loving them
Thanks

I have not installed a Stage IV kit; however, have a friend that has and have watched him struggle with how to improve the disappointing results; he has posted several lengthy posts on his struggle. Another member is disappointed enough in the performance, even after a proper dyno tune, that he is returning the motor to Stage I or II configuration. 2012 EGClassic has been clear that he does not know much about the various possibilities to upgrade his 103. This forum is about helping members achieve their performance goals in the most cost effective way.
IIRC, his motor is currently in Stage I configuration, he wants to see 100HP, wants SE cams and power "early on and midrange". He does not need to spend the money for a Stage IV kit when he can achieve his goal with a Stage 2 upgrade which would included cams, tuner and tune. If the OP is dead set on SE cams, the 255 is the only one I would suggest although a set of TMans 555 Torkster cams would would be a better choice.
So the fact that there are bad as well as good experiences with the Stage IV 103 kit and there are members of this forum that have posted unsatisfactory results should be a cautionary note to the OP; buyer beware, do your homework and be sure before heading down that road. Additionally, whether or not the Stage IV 103 kit will work out or not is beside the point; it just isn't necessary to achieve the OP's goal, so why point him in that direction?

Actually the bloke returning to stage2 was very happy with the bike, then something happened, I don't know what but the post is up in general chat section, even just now has posted that the bike has been tuned well but it's just not for him! Too powerful
The OP will get his 100HP easy as with stage4 straight up, great kit, heaps sold and running in bikes across the globe
Anyway some great suggestions and look forward to how he/she goes, carry on
Thanks

Go stage 4 race kit man, all the way in the electra classic, be beautiful ride, dont bog yourself down with information from people who think they need to be worked on like a space shuttle
Hit the start button and wooooshhhhh 100HP easy as, good price to, i think you get it for $2000, sell the tuner off, get a big throttle body and new injectors, SE259 cam, quick fit pushrods
In all seriousness though, there no ifs or buts, what if i use this cam or this one, then you will get the ultimate excuse, its the tune bro!
the OP did ask for something to get 100HP
Thanks

It is all about keeping various parts 'matched' up to work correctly. I seriously do NOT wish to steer you wrong, see? That is NOT the reasons why DJL and I post.
If a flat top build, I kind of like Andrews 54s. But I will have to think about that, because they end up needing to be on top of the cams, so to speak, for REAL fun. (those liked to be run at like 2800 and up RPM). THAT suits how I ride, but you, I think want to have good power a little lower.
