Question after cam install

How much intake noise is typical after a cam install? I have the typical knock at idle. Seems like when I'm on the throttle it sounds like an exhaust leak. Seems like only in the front cylinder. Tuner didn't seem like there was any problem
Never had cams before and looking for some insight. Wondering if I should check exhaust or not.

By all means check for an exhaust leak. The exhaust did have to come off, but some increased noise is expected.
