There's definitely less headache making a decision that way.

Thanks Miirmu

Yo want your cake and eat it too, ain't gonna happen. Get yerself some S&S lifters, pushrods and an Andrews 48 and a good tune, Super reliable. Go with a 30 tooth Baker pulley and a new belt, that's a big mechanical advantage and also totally reliable.

Its not set in stone at this time. I picked the Andrews 57 and she doesn't like much compression (should have picked one that could go up to a 10.2 - 10.5.) Andrews recommends "Minor Headwork" ( and again should have picked a cam that could do more headwork.)

So to answer your question..... I am having at least a minimum of a Hillside stage 2. Possibly more depending on Scott's advice. Asked his advice of shaving the heads a little to get compression up around a 10.1 (believe that's the recommended max on my cam.)

I may have him set the heads up just in case I want to replace this cam with a bigger one lmao

Static CR is just number; doesn't mean anything. Corrected or dynamic compression is what the motor sees as well as CCP. Scott knows how far to push the envelope with the 57 or any other cam to get the most out of the cam. Don't worry, you will like the 57; a nice cam for your motor.
