What is a good after market tuner to go with that setup? Something not to complicated for a novice. I looked at cobra's website. They say their tuner works with any application and tunes itself. Will that work for what I'm doing?

We still don't know what you are doing. Have you got a build plan now?
Magnum629c's advice is not a bad plan and very affordable. Bolt in Andrews 48 cams, new lifters and pushrods, drop one tooth on the trans pulley (if you drop more, you will need a shorter belt), TTS Mastertune or PowerVision tuner, tune and away you go. No major down time, easy DIY project and low cost for a nice boost in power.
Don't have a plan yet. But thanks to everyone, I have some good ideas rolling around in my head that I need to research. Its going to be my winter project while the snow is on the ground.
Yes a 107" with those .585's work well.
We recently did that semi-similar combo for fellow member, target64.
1.725 rockers on the intake side with a 55mm HPI t/body.
Tuned at Thayers Sales & Service in Corfu, NY, that 107" tuned off some mighty GOOD numbers, north of 120 hp.
Perhaps he'll chime in.

If u can do the work, it would be pretty close. Hillside has there 107 kit which I would use the S&S 585's cams along with pushrods, lifters,and a power vision tuner would be in the ball park of around 2K. you would have to discuss with scott how in depth of performance you want to go on with the head work. but for 3k you could get it done for sure what the hell is $ 500.00 extra when your into this far. it's all about the head work which makes the performance worth it.

Its great but really if I were in your shoes and going to maybe build a beast I would want it tuned by someone who could really dial it and you are done. Possibly money ahead. But if you are on a budget and are building the 107 why by a tuner and then have a dyno done? By the way do a search of a proper 107 build a listen to it if you are on the fence.....it will help you take the leap for sure!

Not sure if there is anyone near Gillette, Wy other than the Harley dealer to tune the bike for me. Possibly Dakota V Twin in Spearfish? This project is still in the beginning stage. More things to research. I DO APPRECIATE EVERYONES ADVICE!
Its real easy to catch the fever when looking into mods. Good luck in whatever you decide buddy! We will stay tuned. By the way im going for the s and s mr-103 cam as a bolt in for my 103. Already have a d and d bobcat exhaust, stage 1 a/c , and the power vision. Probably this winters project $ permitting. They should be a nice boost in performance, and still economical enough
