I'm planning on doing the heads and cams on my scooter this winter. Its a 07 wide glide. Anybody find a good combination that they're happy with? Thanks.

The number of combinations is endless. You need to let the folks know how you ride your bike, where you want the power, do you tour? solo or two up and loaded? want torque or horsepower? I could tell you a set of BigBoyz street ported heads and SE204 cams but that might not be a good combination for your application. Comprende?
Sometimes I'm by myself sometimes I'm not. I try to get out on a couple long rides a year (1500-3000 mile trips). Right now the bike is stock other than Vance and Hines side shots and screaming eagle air filter. Just looking to give it a little more power all around. After 7 years with the bike i want a little more out of it. I pretty much ride it like I stole it. I appreciate the advice.
When I change cams do I need new lifters and pushrods. I've built a few small block chevys but this is the first time tearing into a harley motor so I'm learning as I go.
I would look at the different kits available, or packages you might say. Proven to work well together. feul moto' website and others will give you and idea. How many miles are on your bike? Hey how about a 107 kit
Skip the heads to much work.. I would go with andrews 48 cams and drop the sprocket a few teeth them 2007 gears are not helping u any
How much will I lose in the top end with lower gears? Top speed I'm guessing is about 125-130 right now, hard to tell since the speedo only goes to 120.

You may be on to something there. In theory, if I get the 107 kit, everything I need is there. Takes out the guess work right? It has 26000 on it.

Yes a 107" with those .585's work well.
We recently did that semi-similar combo for fellow member, target64.
1.725 rockers on the intake side with a 55mm HPI t/body.
Tuned at Thayers Sales & Service in Corfu, NY, that 107" tuned off some mighty GOOD numbers, north of 120 hp.
Perhaps he'll chime in.
