So my wife wants to keep up with my new 107. I have 2 questions. Is the 48 appropriate for a light dyna?
Should i use my extra screamin eagle t/body thats hogged out to 52mm 4.9 injectors or run the stock 46.no plans on head work.
2008 dyna fatcat pipe pc3 tuner stage 2 big sucker air cleaner
A lot of dyna riders with the Andrews 48. Mostly a lower rpm performer, but should be a nice upgrade. Up to you on the tb, probably not too necessary - the bigger tbs really start helping at higher rpms and you are looking at a low rpm cam.

I agree from what I have read, no real need for the larger TB. How did that 107 turn out, any numbers?
It wasnt world breaking # but on the light dyna it feels like you are going to get ripped of the seat at any moment.
I came in at 106hp 114 tq.
that was rev perf 107 with heads tman 590 cams pc3 and 52mm tbody.
If I dont use my other 52mm intake any takers? 4.9 injectors 360$ shipped. NOT FLY BY WIRE.
48, new inner cam bearings, retune and all should be good; no need for larger T/B. However, it will take more than a set of 48 cams for her to keep up with a built 107"er.

Your 107" build is very similar to mine and the results too. I hope to improve on my build with an exhaust swap - want to put the D&D Fat Cats on and retune, maybe around Feb or March...
I hear great things about the 48's as just a cam upgrade. Don't add the TB because w/o doing headwork and enlarging your intake runners your TB will be bigger and make a step going against the air flow into the smaller diameter head runner. Won't add power, instead will only disturb the flow.
