European HOG Rally 2019
For those who don't have any plans for 2019. The 28th European HOG rally will take place in Cascais, Portugal again.
Last year I rode to the bike week in Faro, Portugal and I really fell in love with that part of Europe again. The weather
was fantastic not too hot but also no humidity, the streets where awesome and there was not much traffic at all.
Most of the people speak English, food was very good especially seafood/fish and there are plenty of places to stay
for 50 to 60 for a double room with breakfast included. All in all a great country for riding. Also Northern Spain is very nice.
It has smooth roads and a lot of breathtaking mountain ranges like the Pico de Europa.
It depends on from which direction you come and you don't want to travel the whole way on your bike you can also take a short cut
with taking the ferry from the UK to Spain. It's a 24 hr overnight ferry and it nice to relax before your actual trip starts.
