I don't buy the "it's just sitting there",, your looking to buy another bike, look, is't OK to want the Eglide and be three steps above a sportster, rather than just one. J/K And yes you want the radio, maybe a better one than the stock one, it's not uncool to have a radio, well maybe to the diehard SOA dyna crowd it is.
I swear it's just sitting there. Can't ride it. Tried Sunday made things worse. It's going to be sitting for a month more minimum possibly two and by then it's winter around here. My riding season has ended unfortunately. Might get a nice day or two on the weekends randomly but for the most part it's going to be cold by then.
Cool, I was just curious because I think that is a little higher than NADA.
Used market sucks and winter is coming. NADA high is $5235, KBB retail is $6500. But nothing sells at KBB retail. $6000 is pretty wishful thinking this time of year. Especially needing work. Someone would have to not be paying attention or just love it to pay that.
All of these are under 20,000 miles and only one sold at $4800.
So it isn't going to sell even if I took $5k is what you're saying.
Not saying that, lots of folks don't watch the market like I do. So someone may pay more. I would fix the brakes, not a big deal. And start it at $6000 and see what happens. I would NOT take less than $5000 just because I can part it out for that. But that involves your time. In the spring it should bring a bit more.
You could always see if the guy with the 96 would do a trade.
