I'm unable to ride for at least a month, small injury. Considering selling my 98 FXDL but not sure what it's worth. It needs front and rear brakes but otherwise it's solid. Cosmetically its a 98 so it's not perfect but it's nice and it gets compliments all the time. What do you think a fair price would be? 43k miles. I also really like this 96 I found and would love to buy it, just don't want the radio im sure I can Let me know what you think. Thanks. http://hartford.craigslist.org/mcy/4649288864.html

Since you don't have to sell it then wait till Spring. You will get a better price.
That said and without pictures I would start at 7.5k and take no less than 6k.

I posted one picture. I would take $6k right now and be very happy. Could probably walk away with the 96 I like the same day and put it right into winter storage for the spring
No idea on the right price, but I would offer that if all the brakes need is new pads and you are able, go ahead and put them on now. Lots of potential buyers turn away when the ad says "great bike, just needs this one small thing".

I know you're probably right but at this point I just want to let it go and be done with it since I can't do anything with it just sitting there and it's not happy. It wants to drive.
