I'm on the road for work right now buy I need to order a new throttle and idle cable for my bike before I get back so I can take this rider course. I put 12 inch bars on it and the stock cables definitely wont cut it so I need the stock length so I can figure out how much more I need.
SP was the Sport version, with longer front and rear suspension, twin discs etc., but low bars when new. Apes on an SP?! Sorry, but yuk........
You can surely work out what length you need, if you have the old cables? Offer them up and measure the gap to where they need to go! Or fit one to the carb, the other to the twistgrip, then tape them together when you have a decent run. Hey presto - remove and measure. Simples!
