In 1978 I'd been out of high school for 11 years, did a stint for Uncle Sam, had two son's and just enough money to put gas in the scooter ( every once in a while )
I was a hischool grad that year, must say it was one of my best. Don't remember a bad year in the 70's........Ted Nugent definitely on his high.........
In 78 I had my 71FX. First year of the Superglide with the Boat tail.
Of course by 78 I had gotten rid of the boat tail. Now I would love to find a 71 with the tail I could restore.
