If you want to make it easy for yourself Hill Country Cycles sells what you need in kits. I bought my apes for them pre wired with the right brake lines, washers, and clutch cable making it a plug and play quick job. Comes well packed in a box ready to bolt on if you buy the complete kit. It costs more for the convenience but I'm very happy with their products and they make it very easy if it's your first time putting on apes.
