Sorry it has been a while since I posted anything guys. I have gotten quite a bit done since I last posted. I started stretching my bags. I am using a two part marine foam and then gonna glass over those when I am ready.
I have all the wiring done except the tail lights since I don't have gap fillers made yet. I am getting ready to route my oil lines and fire it up at some point today.
I put the front oil filter on as you guys know and I am wondering what lines go where. My service manual is kinda vague on this part. I have the two ports out of the oil pump. My manual says hi and low but both are even in height with each other. I also have a port out of the block which I am guessing is the vent, but I went with the head breathers for now cleaner look and no puking oil.
Also the bigger port in the block is what I am assuming john was saying is the primary oiler which I don't need so I can block that one off correct?
86 was also the last year for the wide glide until the dyna ,fxdwg came out in 92 or 93.
The 85&86 are pretty much the same, I believe it's a two year only frame ,learned that seat searching...84 you could get with a shovel or evo, frame different and seat won't fit.
