Lines in the tank are steel and brazed into the outlet fittings joined to the to steel fuel filter lines by short rubber hoses, feed line is pressurized. On the bottom of the output fuel lines is a small pipe plug where you measure fuel pressure with a gauge to test for loss of fuel pressure, always a must to know your fuel pressure with EFI.
Clogged fuel filter possible, intake seals possible, fuel command possible, ETS possible, fuel pressure regulator possible, no codes WTF, the wonderful world of EFI
If I understand correctly you are doing a EFI to Carb conversion anyway right?
If so why are you even thinking about spending money on getting the EFI working right?

Yes... and 'cause I hate to lose! lol. Seriously, I know that EFI can work exceptionally well, and I know that Magnetti Marelli systems can be quite good, so its a bit frustrating to have it acting up...

FWIW if I remember right 97bagger said that on an EVO a Carb works better than an EFI system.
I can understand hating to lose but to me you are just throwing money away to scratch an itch.
What the hell it is your itch to scratch to your hearts content!!
The two fuel lines outside under the tank sometimes decompose internally if still original.
The actual hole at each end is like a pencil lead in size.
There was one forum member that had a bike that would top out at a very low speed due to external fuel line issue.
Due the lines have any leak at all?
Have you removed and checked?
Is the fuel inlet clear inside the tank?
The actual fuel sock in the tank is rather good but sometimes a piece of loose tank liner will coat it.
You have M & M and would not have the internal fuel line leak that is sometimes seen in other systems.
If i was throwing dice i would guess the sock in the tank is being blocked with garbage.
