Sounds like you have an aftermarket dash.

The factory dash is metal, has ignition switch, indicator lights and speedometer. So do many aftermarket units.

The aftermarket one I bought from Drag Specialties for my Heritage is metal.

I didn't know they made them in plastic.

If it was me I'd look through Drag Specialties and see which I wanted and made it fit.
I don't think it will be all that hard. JMO

the closest I can find in drag or anywhere for that fact is the klockwerks dash that still has speedo hole cutout nothing like I have. I wouldn't mind welding in the hole but at 350 bucks it seems alittle crazy

I'm sorry I guess I misunderstood.
I thought you were gonna put a speedo and ignition switch there.

It was a long day at work.

no problem yea im trying to replace it with something similar to what I have. my ignition is relocated to the side. the other options im thinking are to make one out of sheetmetal myself to kinda copy the existing broken one or change out the tank to a fatbob style
