Default Gauges on my 1997 Road King

When I bought my Road King last November these gauges were on there. I've been trying to find more info (brand, schematic, ...) with no luck. They work fine except for there is no light and I would be shocked if that is normal. Anybody ever seen them, has them, knows more about them?

Somebody asked the same question a few years back on another forum and got no replies....

I would have a look at the wiring diagram for your bike and check which wire is hooked up to where on the gauges as a process of elimination. Either there will be a spare wire or you will know which one to test. Probably an orange or orange and white from the bike. Usually the back light is hooked into the power circuit for the gauges so if they work and the light doesn't you may have a problem internally or just a bulb.

I bet if you remove the bezel your might find manufacturer info around the rim of the face of the gauge or take the bucket off the back. gotta be some thing there.....

50's Boy was an accessories company in Cali that shuttered a few years ago. Last mention online I could find was 2008 and the website is now defunct. Even though the face says USA, I'd be surprised if it wasn't a rebranded asian product, at least at component level. I'd try to open it, but I'm probably overly adventurous. It could very well screw it up.

Thanks for the replies. I'll take it apart one of these days. Now it's time to go for a ride.
