Making a fxrt....
Many people do the opposite...... FXRT into FXR. If you are vigilant, the fairing and bags turn up on ebay occaisonaly. I've seen them recently.
Pricey, but there: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Motorcycle-P...fairing&_frs=1

There are two styles. Early FXRT and all FXRP have no radio. The Ts have vents and the Ps have light pods. FXRD and late FXRT have radio mounts and use a slightly different system of brackets. These fairings mount in 3 places. Use them all or they crack. They cost a ton of money on Ebay, but if you can find one on Craigslist, you might have to travel a bit, but you can usually steal it.
For aftermarket, there is an outfit called Deviant Fabrications that does a nice product I hear. They are in the process of moving their business from Lebanon to the states.

Like Beemervet stated you will need patience and to check ebay and craigslist on a regular basis or as owtlaw mentioned you can go with one of the aftermarket companies.Any local swap meets you could get to is worth a shot at finding parts.Had the same idea and bought this FXRP a year ago and just getting it wrapped up.

Really sharp looking bike. You used the Deviant Fab stuff, right? How was the fitment?
Yes I used Deviant Fab.Fitment was excellent and it is rock solid. The only thing I changed was I did not use the X-bracket that is the main mount, adjustable, and will fit Dynas.I used an OEM main mount instead.
When I bought the stuff from them there was a NOS OEM FXRT fairing on ebay.It was $2200 and that was fairing only so I realized really quick that an OEM was probably not in my future.I had just paid right at 3K for the whole damn bike. The used fairings were not in the best shape, pretty high, and then you had to hunt down all the mounts, and good luck finding a set of lowers.I realized pretty quick I was going to have a mix and match set no matter which direction I went so I chose to get the fairing, lowers, and mounts from the same company.I pieced the rest together off of ebay.
Sorry for the ramble but this is probably the same type thing you will run into in your search.Of course I am not the most patient person you may have better luck.

I would just be patient. They gotta be out there. It took me almost a year to find a 4WD manual first gen RAV4 that wasn't beat to crap within a day's drive, for example. Just keep looking.
I'll also relate the following story: In '86, I rode a 79 FLH Classic POS 1500 miles to Sturgis. We stayed at a motel in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The room next to us had a guy about 80 years old with 2 transistor radio type hearing aids riding a shovelhead FXRT, waiting for his friends to catch up. He like to ride 8-900 miles a day and no one would ride with him.
Oh, and when I made it home from that trip, the next day I went and bought my Evo.
