I'm getting more parts ready to paint on my 1997 EG
There are 4 chrome pieces, 2 on each saddle bag lid that lock onto the lower bag piece(latch???) when closing the lid. The lowers part is attached with screws. On the lids it seems glued in place.
Looking for suggestions as to removing this little chrome piece that looks to protect the lid when closed.
I'm not worth a D&^% at pics or I'd just post one of what I'm trying do.
Mean time I'll try to find a pic or something better to explain myself.
Thanks WP
Ok found this It is the pieces in the top right of this pics
Should be just two way tape....a bit of heat and a rigid plastic scraper/pry tool has worked for me. If they're beat up...they're cheap from the dealer and come with new adhesive tape ready to install.
