Bike is 98 Roadking , no sound system would need a stand alone system

Wife and i both wear 3/4 Helmets so what would be a good choice

Thanks

Cardo Scala G9x or Sena smh 10

Call Geoff at Antler Creek 512-441-2427
He is very familiar with both and can set you straight.

Get away!

Mrs B and I have Schuberth helmets with their built-in intercom, courtesy of Scala. We've tried several products over the years and to be frank none of them have been up to expectation. We sent men to the moon decades ago, but still can't talk clearly and easily when in touching distance on a bike! The Scala stuff is the best to date, in our experience, but by no means perfect.

Jeez Graham.....
In the U.S. those two helmets would around $1200.00. What would that be with v.a.t. and import to the UK?

I have a BMW branded Schuberth helmet from the early 80s. Until recently the Schuberth brand was unavailable in the USA, only Europe.

I'm on my fourth or fifth Schuberth, a black C2 for riding Buttercup, naturally, plus a white C3 with the intercom for riding Hyacinth. They ain't cheap over here, but hey we're all Harley owners with more dough than we know how to spend! Current UK price for a C3 plus intercom is around Ł750, so about $1200 each. I think we paid around Ł600 each when we bought them, special introductory offer guv.

I use Scala Rider G9s. Range is a mile, line of sight, and farther when you daisy chain 3 or 4 units. Also FM Radio and A2DP bluetooth stereo. Oh.... and phone calls. I hear the G9x lets both rider and passenger listen to the same music source. I use a 3/4 helmet and they work well with the boom mic. I've found in some helmets it helps to push the speakers a little closer to your ears. Some swimming pool noodle slices and velcro do the trick for me!

There is no such thing as a good intercom...a good intercom is one that means you cannot hear the Mrs telling you you're doing it all wrong.....
