If you're on good terms with your local dealer, you can ask them to do an "inventory search" of dealer inventory nationwide. If you can find the right hub, you can build a wheel. Rims and spokes are available from a variety of sources.
I went through this last year and was able to find NOS hubs for my '94 FLSTN. I bought the parts and built my own wheels. It's not rocket surgery.
My local dealer is about worthless. When I asked them about wheels they told me parts for my bike were obsolete. I called them with a part number for the spring bridge and the guy did a nation wide search then told me I needed to come in for the list of dealers that showed them in stock.
I called KC INT and the guy I talked to said either of the above wheels would work but to call them when I was ready to order and they would get me the right one. I'm thinking they have them built when ordered. Also he said the difference in the two was one was American made (the expensive one) and the other was over seas.
