I would pull it completely. Will allow you to get a good grip on the bowl screws so you don't round them out! Will also give you a chance to clean it out good. Easy stuff.
If you haven't did anything yet, look to the rear bottom of your carb and see if there is a big brass looking turn ****, after market mixture adjustment. If so, turn it in about a 1/4 turn each time until B-F stops. Might be a quick fix..might not either! Remember main jet is only top half of throttle, U be changing the mid jet to about mid forties...if I'm remembering this correctly..LOL!
I have turn ***** all three places, makes it easy to adj, yours might have them, if not then take it off, real easy! You want the baffles, back pressure is torq, open is WOT drag racing!
