Another Jets question
If you have to choose, in an imperfect world, be a shade rich over a shade lean.

The CV doesn't have an "intermediate" jet. It has a low speed, which is the one you discussed and stock is, as stated #42. Change it to a #45 and see how it runs. Also, remove the plug behind the bowel, there's an idle mixture screw under it. LIGHTLY seat it then turn it out 2 1/2-3 turns.
Check the hight speed jet, it should be 170 to start. Run the bike and check the plugs. Black, too rich, needs a smaller jet, white, too lean, needs a bidder one. The plugs should be brownies grayish.

Edit: Also pop the cap off the idle mixture screw if it isn't already gone. It sounds as if someones been there before.
You have the right jets, although the 175 may be a little fat but it's not causing the problem you describe. How many turns out is the idle mixture screw? The #45 won't matter if the screw is too far in.
Also, check the accelerator pump.

Put a 48 in there. I'll ride around for a couple days then check the plugs. I let it warm up and rode it around the neighborhood and it didnt stumble or cough like it did before. Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it.
