That's a beautiful bike. I picked one up for little or nothing out of a barn, after it had been there for a few years. Frame was broken at the front left down tube. After some freshening up the bike fired up and the motor ran very well (No sputtering, smoking). I rode it around for about ten miles just to see what would happen and it did what it was was supposed to do, rode nicely down the road with no problems. My question is, how does the 4 speed tranny act at highway speeds and what mods have you done to yours. Its got 43k on the odometer and I'm looking for some options. Bought a Kraftech rigid frame and I'm thinking Bobber.

Somehow a lot of us got down the road just fine with 4-speeds. Try one, you might like it.

 

I get along just fine with my four banger and I ride with Twinkie owners...
