According to my '93/'94 H-D parts manual, the Softail is supposed to have a grease fitting on the steering head. The manual calls for it.

I've seen it. Looks just like the "Tractor Supply" grease I use. Might be that Lucas makes it for them.

My 92 doesn't. I figure most would be owner added mods.

As I said, page 124 or my H-D parts manual ('93-'94) shows the grease fitting in the Softail frame, and even gives the part number for it (50972-75).

I just looked at Ronnie's online parts finder...looked at both softails and touring bikes...no grease fitting in 92...both had grease fitting in 93

My 95 has one but I have no clue if it's factory or not.

I can see that this bike has been down with scuff marks on primary and different shifter shaft just wondering if the frame had been changed out the numbers match just didn't think a 91 had the grease fitting
