I was talking to some guys the other day about changing the ECM etc so I can do a cam, pipes and breather upgrade for the 96 Road King. Long story short one of the guys says hey I got something I'll give you. Went into the back room and came out with a Techlusion FI-1040 still in original package and says here try this, it will work with your stock ECM it just piggybacks in the system.
I will be installing this sometime in the next week or so when I get the chance and see how it does with the stock set up I have now.
Does anyone have any experience with these? Thanks.
If you're pioneering you should record all your data and post it. May help some guys in the future, but I'm sure somebody may have already tried one. Maybe?

Pirate system, controls injectors with pulse width by direct injector hookup. Will be a simple system like tuning a carb in 3 areas. if it is free, it is a no brainer compared to updated ECM, PC3 cost that is better but more complicated
Well I finally got some time and installed the TFI on the Road King today while I was fixing a few other things. I took the bike out for a 25 mile ride and I think it was running a little stronger. My bike is semi stock, I say that cause the AC has some holes in the back plate to help breath and the slip ons had a run in with a larger drill bit awhile back. Anyway I'll get it out on the highway tomorrow when I go to work and see how she does. I've got a set of 2to1 pipes to install but I want to get a stage 1 AC for it first.
I'll update later as things progress.
