Well in the process of taking off the petcock I killed the rubber gasket that goes inside the nut that connects the petcock to the tank.

So I made a trip to harley to get a new one.

It doesn't fit.

Guess it is time for a Pingle!!!! damnit

I haven't had a yamaha in years, and yes, there is a big difference between the two. Quality is not one though, both top notch and made better than the machines we like to ride.

I currently have a Kawasaki parked next the Harley. It's a nice break not having to turn a wrench to go ride.

So just out of curiosity what is the difference???
About the only difference I see is the name.
I will agree with you that the Japs make some damn fine bikes they are just not as customizable as a Harley or at least not as easily.

I have owned Honda's and Yamaha's and I never noticed a difference between the two.
