I need to replace my stator. I have a open belt ultima primary. Will it all be the same as stock for a stator? I pretty sure it same as stock. Any advice on taking it apart tips and tricks? Thanks
The stators are the same no matter what primary you are running.
Ok THC or anyone else who knows or where to look. Need to find directions on installing a stator. For a open primary. I want make sure I do it correctly. I think I know how to do it but not 100% sure

It will become Obvious...After you remove the primary drive!
Pulling the rotors with stronger magnets is sometimes a Challenge but, there are pullers available.
Check the Magnets Carefully for damage.
Use some sealant on the threads of the smallscrews that attach the holder to the plug, some go all the way thru.
Not cheap nor Fun job...Have you tried to measure AC voltage output of stator...Sorry to be Capt. Obvious, but, I don't like that job, and exhaust all Troubleshooting options.

No problem being captain obvious here. But yes I didn't the sticky thread on checking my charging system. I'm dreading doing this. But I'll go over it one more time (just in case I f something up). I'm not the best electrical person.
Pulling the rotor off isn't the problem, putting it back on is where it gets interesting.
REMEMBER!! KEEP YOUR FINGERS CLEAR, Those permanent magnets are powerful, and will take the meat off your fingers, no problem.
My rotor was also tapped with a ?x20 thread, so the correct size carriage bolt's will suffice. Use them as handles to pull the rotor off, screw them in just far enough to get a good grip.
