Hit button twice and they go for twice as long.

I tried that already. Why don't they keep blinking untill I hit the button again?

If it's not a tourer you may have a problem following the instructions, these are for a Dyna or TC:

First locate your OEM flasher module, depending on the year and model of the bike it could be under the seat, under the tank-mounted speedo housing or behind the left hand side cover.

Cut off the stock plug where th eoriginal module connects with the bike’s wiring loom.

Connect the wires from the new module to the wiring loom as per the table below (Soldering and heat shrink isbest).

If you don’t want to cut off the plug then just follow the wires back up the loom and connect into those wires with a scotch lock, crimped connector or solder.

Bike Loom .............................................Badlands Module

Orange............................................ ...Red
Black ................................................Bl ack
White/Purple Stripe .........................Purple
Purple ..............................................Grey
White/Brown Stripe........................ Brown
Brown .............................................Yello w
White/Green Stripe......................... Ignore and tape up end

White/Green Stripe is speedo input and the Badlands module does not use speedo input.

Push on/push off would be going back to the Jap bikes. Isn't that the whole idea behind the timed signal, so you don't have to worry about it? I went from the push and hold thing to the 9 second timer. If I need more time, I just hit the button again. I'm happy with that.

THe bandlands module is all in one. It is custom system it has the flasher built into it. Also it is wired right . It works fine but when I hit the button the blinker blinks for about 15 seconds then stops and I have to start over again and hit the button. This is bad at lites and making turns waiting for a opening to make the turn.

That is how it's supposed to work. Unless there is some bypass jury rigged.

True and hitting the button twice quickly should double the period....this is the only disadvantage with the Badlands as the speedo input stops the stock module from cancelling at a standstill.

It is a huge improvement over the old push and hold system and a cheap alternative to stock but does have that one compromise.
