What do you mean suppose to work like that. I will call the manufactor about this. I would rather have the jap type of switchs then the push putton on my bobber now, its tough to rewire now unless I can get a different module.

That is how they work, they have a timed flash period, extending it is as easy as pushing a button.....if you don't like it then you need the stock module.

Mine is 10 years old and the length of time they flash depends on how long I depress the button. Hold them both and I have 4 way flashers. Mine works great.

I don't think Harley ever offered the Jap style signal switch. Other than the timed version, it was push and hold. You don't like what you have? Go back to the push and hold, and have fun. Badlands is just giving you the newer style of Harley signals for older bikes. After riding for years with the old push and hold, I couldn't be happier with my Badlands timer. As for the Jap style, I remember everyone b!tching that you had to turn them off, and "sometimes I forget, and that's not good". I was ok with the Japs, I payed attention and didn't "forget".

Then sell your bobber and buy a Honda.

There are down sides to everything.
The question is can you live with the parts you don't like to have the parts you do like.

My bike had no blinkers I added blinkers and the badlands module. That is all I have 4 blinkers and 1 badlands module. Now the 4 ways flash when I hit both push buttons and keep flashing untill I hit the buttons. Now as far as me trying to use the blinkers left or right when I amm at a traffic lite they just blink for 20 seconds and they stop and I have to hit it again to start all over again, this is bad at intersections when I am waiting to make a turn and I have to keep hitting th button. Doesn't make a difference how long I push the button.

Whatever. If it's such a hassle, take them off.
