Default Does this look right?



Front right side of 96 Road King wheel. I don't remember this gap before I had the mag rims installed. The bolts are tight. There is also a little space between the spacer and the lower leg. I thought this was tighter before.

Yes. It does not look right but there is a gap, maybe not that big.

Thanks for the replies. It just seemed different with the space in between the lower leg and end cap.

There should not be a gap between the leg and spacer...if you follow the directions in the video there will not be.

The spacer is held in place by the shoulder of the axle not the lower leg.
I'm not a fan of how they do it in the video because if done in that method there is a chance you are pulling in the right leg instead of it being straight down.

For myself I prefer to use a screwdriver on the right side while fully torquing left side nut then I tighten the nuts on the right.
But that's just me.

There should be no gap between the spacer and the fork leg.....
