I read somewhere around here that the stuff HD uses for brake caliper pin grease is actually Dow Corning Molykote 44. I looked it up and found out that they make two flavors of molykote 44, light and medium. Not knowing which one was the right one, I fired off an email to them and they told me that medium was the one to use. This junk is a little expensive, so I didn't want to guess at it.
Anyway, just chunking that out here for reference and maybe it will help someone. I know there are probably many other suitable caliper pin greases out there.
I found out the hard way that the "caliper pin grease" sold in the auto parts store doesn't work. It swelled the rubber bushings and o-rings the pins ride on and seized my brakes. I had to replace all the rubber parts.
Substitute at your own risk.
Only place I found the real deal had a $50 minimum order, so I have a lifetime supply of Molykote. It also works on my Honda car.

Ever thought of repackaging some in zip lock bags with bottle caps or something filled with the stuff and reselling? I'm sure there's quite a few of us that would buy a small amount. That's how I got my lapping compound on eBay. I didn't want to buy a 50 gallon drum of the stuff.

The "minimum order" got me three tubes of the stuff, and I gave one to my brother. I use more than I expected as I grease the pins every 5,000 miles.
It's the same thing that HD specs out. Pretty pricey but I'm going to get a tube. I've found out that when you clean and re grease your caliper pins every 5k miles your bike will stop on a dime.
