A nice bit of steampunk fashion too.

I might be wrong but I can't see how vibration will be much of a problem where engines are bolted to trannies.

Spoke to old-stf.com about it. Unfortunately, they say they don't have a bike to use for R&D, although they think it's not a bad idea and was not the first time someone asked them.

So if you are near Yuba City, CA and have a bike you can leave them for a while, may be it will be possible.

What diameter of bore are we talking about and what are the fittings, 1/4"-18 NPT?

My Harley parts counter guy had a good suggestion. NAPA auto parts makes hydraulic hoses. Might be a good option for oil hoses!

I did my oil lines last winter on my 91 FXSTC. You do not want to use fuel lines because they are not rated for high temperatures and high pressures. I found Gates 3/8" transmission oil line at NAPA which is rated far higher than anything our Harleys dish out. I used fuel injection clamps as mentioned previously and I wet them with a solution of dish detergent and water to minimize pinching the rubber. I found the metal fittings I needed at Grainger. I did not want to risk a line pinching when it got hot and softer. Also, I used a couple of short sections of heater hose to protect the lines to and from the oil filter where they rub against the engine block.

Or you could search on line and buy them?

My motor is not bolted to tranny, no rubber mounts anywhere, movement is minimal,my bike anyway, I believe his is a lot different but still should work out fine.
