FXRT Fairing Information
I'd give $5500 for that bike any day of the week as long as the extra parts that he has come with it.
The bike has some pretty ugly sheet metal on it but it's all pretty easy to come by.
The mid controls are easily obtainable and are not really priced too bad.
Even the complete floorboard sets and related controls are still floating around if you want to go that way.
The fairings are available in reproduction and the quality of most of the re-pops is very good with the added benefit that they are made of fiberglas instead of ABS, so they are less prone to crack.
I can name you a couple of places to get all of the mounting brackets in the aftermarket and I even have a guy that has a ton of OEM stuff at very reasonable prices.
I even know a guy here locally that has a brand new (old stock) front fender for less than $100.
The frame is complete and uncut and the rest of it looks good to me.
You can e-bay all of the ugly sheet metal and the dash and have a pretty nice bike.
For $5500, it's a sweet deal!
