Winter Re-Fresh
Yeah. By the end of this riding season I'll be 66. Still feel like I'm in my 40's. My brain thinks I'm in my 30's. Unfortunately my body is beginning to feel it's age. Damn arthritis is creeping into my hands and shoulders.
Just got back from the shop, they've got my 93 FLHS almost done. I had:
New lifters installed
New EV27 cam (22 year old EV27 cam had some scoring on it)
New S&S pushrods
Jims Mega Nut for the output shaft
Reseal on the shift shaft
Fresh fluids
New tires (Dunlops. I wouldn't know how to ride a bike that had good tires on it)
Repack of wheel bearings
Check the tuning
All of the stuff I 'could' have done myself, but with my present work schedule and all the other commitments that seem to grow daily, it was best to take it to a shop that's done good work for me before.
Hope this last me another 10 - 15 years, when I'll be too old to hold it up....
