Was in the bike when I bought it. So I would think most likely since new some 40k ago. I know it would be best to change it but after all the expense I would wait until spring. If it wouldn't do damage.

It will cost more in the long run to go back in there in the spring vs just doing it now.
That looks a bit worse than mine did at 95,000 miles. I could have replaced mine then, but seeing as it looked about the same as it did at 50,000 miles I let it ride.
I have 109,000 miles on my current motor and the heads haven't been off it yet. Evo lower ends will go a long way. IME, few Evos "wear out", they succumb to the irresistible urge of their owners to tinker with them.
