They are proud of them because they are a quality part and they are certainly not $100.00 more than an OEM.
I do know that if you end up with a vacuum leak there and are looking at your VOES or your intake manifold seals... Next thing you know your way over a $100.00 upgrade and are still looking for the problem.....
By the way not to get off the track but I recently discovered my VOES had a vacuum leak and the motor would surge at idle but I never looked into it until I had the heads off and decided whether or not I was going to use the VOES at all so I tested it and yup would not hold a vacuum... Trashed. I'll probably never use one again....
The pingle petcock was the most expensive part I used on my change over other than the ignition. Best money I spent. It's good stuff and I don't think it will ever good bad.
After your done with the change over ....u will think it's a different bike. I believe the newer ultima ignitions they may have changed the coil. Heard all the bad stories but mine has been in there 24,000 miles now.
I would have to say individual ports from the throttle plates to the heads...Bob...
Yes on the Pingle, bought used one that can be position 360 degrees before tightening it down that work out well.
Cut the plenom behind the throttle plates, remove the center divider out of it, tig it back together and cylinder cross talk is available that gives the Evo that idle. Still have the plenom on a shelf and the 89" did have a chatter idle with it on, couldn't stand the flat M&M idle, drove me nuts.

I had a strong feeling that's what you did. How did it help the performance. low, mid and top?
