You are getting accurate information in that thread. It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. If you don't need to sell, post it high and stand firm. I sold my 96 Nostalgia last year and I lost a TON of money letting it go. I made it the way I wanted it and had to sit tight. Ultimately I was content in selling it to the "right person" after realizing I wasn't gonna get the "right price". The new owner loves it, rides the **** out of it and is a cool dude. Good luck. Something terribly emotional about selling an evo. Aint nothin like em.

FYI I bought a 99 Fatboy in excellent condition with 17.8K on it with soft bags for $5K. List it you never know...some guys don't like the twin cams, some guys want older low mileage carb bikes, some guys just want the "in bike" to be seen on. If you list it too high you won't get any looks....I'd guess $7500 to list but depending on your market you might be doing well to get $6K...That is low mileage but there's not much diff between 8K an 28K if it's been maintained well.

So you have a rare bike, but it is not highly sought after...so in most places it is just a $5-6000 bike. To get any money for it, you need to list it on ebay and list it to ship worldwide...so people in other countries can see it. Be prepared to ship it overseas, cause that is where the bucks will be.
