I just am finishing up my FXR(again). Refreshed since 2003. Put in a new 113 TP (reworked), 6 speed gears with a 0.86 final, Supertrap, re-wired with badlands & gauge by Dakota. I am using this as a mule for my FL line of front fork solutions. We make them for the individual rider, bike weight, and riding style. I put my first set of 17” carbon fiber wheels for development on it before deciding I had to make a new mould and make 16” wheels for the FL’s (tire issue & weight loads).I am developing a brand new line of shocks with the combined resources of G.M.D. COMPUTRACK® of Fort Lauderdale & Penski Racing Shock. These will have the same features as the shock on the track except the shocks will be made for the weight and handling characteristics of a Harley type V-Twin.Put in Delrin® and stainless steel swing-arm bushings and isolator supports to get rid of the rear swingarm deflection experienced by the stock Cleve Blocks.I re-measured all suspension parts to make sure everything was true and straight (see photo).I can assure you that the front and rear suspension handles unlike anything available on the market to date. On first testing this bike, I was amazed at how smooth the bike goes over the same road I travel every day with my 06 Dyna Superglide. I caught myself looking back to see if someone filed in the holes I have hit for the last year. Cornering, this is what I made the bike for so we will see after motor break-in. I will be out at Sturgis, stop by, and say Hi.
