Default Tins for 96 soft tail
Value of fuel tanks for 90s evo soft tail, any ideas what's fair.

Paint is near perfect, saw right side only, at meet for 600. Which seemed way high. Trying to buy just not sure of value. Don't want to over pay.

Depends on what the tank came off of. A pair of nice painted tanks that came off a common bike usually sell for $250 or less on ebay. Tanks that came off less common bikes like cvos or badboys can get into the crazy price zone.

Tank prices vary greatly. Don't be fooled by fixed price items on Ebay, many of them keep going round and round, looking for a buyer. If you are going to repaint yours, if you buy one, then keep a close eye on prices. I bought a recent tank for 100 bucks with a small dent, which I reckon was off a new showroom bike. It was a shame to paint it, it looked so good (if you ignored the dent!). My painter removed the dent without problems.
