I found a really nice headlight bezel trim ring upgrade for our touring, Road King, and Softails for $29.00 at Boardtracker. Its the one that they use on the CVO and Screamin-Eagle models and its more rounded and slightly deeper. I like the way it recessed my headlight. http://www.boardtrackerharleyonline....ring-69604-03a
Well I really appreciate the compliment! Sometimes I look at it and think I might have gone over the top but , I really like the looks of the 50's and 60's FL and DuoGlides and this is as close as I'll ever get to having one.
I agree your bike looks good with the mix of black and chrome, I like it.
Did you happen to measure the new ring to know the difference between the stock one? Its kind of hard to tell with the visor on yours just how far it comes out past the light.
Thanks. It doesnt actually extend past the light but, is more flush with the headlamp retaining ring. You can see in this picture how far the ring stuck out past the bezel. I'd guess the new bezel is about 3/8" deeper.
Thanks
My head light sticks out about the same as your second pic, so the one you just installed should be just right on my FLH Nacelle. Thanks again for the pic.
