As far as the tranny goes put in 24 oz and call it good.

My manual has an actual measurement of 2 1/2" from the center bolt to fluid fill level. Just so happens to be the bottom of the clutch basket, go figure.

Most of you probably already know this but, there is a night and day difference in the way my bike shifts with the level at the bottom of the spring as opposed to the bottom of the derby cover opening. It sure takes the clunk out of shifting and neutral is a breeze. I guess the added drag on the clutch pack is what causes these issues.

Yes, even Honda clutches can be fickle with oil level...YD
