Security Measures
Best lock is the human eye. If I'm stopping for lunch, I try to sit where I can keep one eye on the bike (and make sure I'm visible, too). If I'm leaving the bike, I use a brake rotor lock and a padlock on the forks just to annoy a potential thief. If I'm out traveling, I try to stay where I can watch the bike from the motel room window. I cover the bike with an ratty old generic (no logo) cover.
Thankfully "50's" style Softails aren't a "thing" these days. then again, sometimes I think about how much simpler (and cheaper) my life would be without the bike.

They make a sword version? Who Knew?
I used to know a retired SEAL. I was sitting in his office BS'ing one day and noticed a claymore on his desk. I said "Is that a real claymore?" He said "Yup" and tossed it to me. He had hollowed out the C4 from the back so it was "safe" now.
