Sorry man I gave my whole set up to a friend of mine a couple years ago.
That may be my challenge in finding a used part. Most probably stay together as a unit. Might have to pay up the $86 for the parts from Ronnie's. I suppose it is worth it even if I ultimately get an entirely new set up since then I would have a functional set up to sell or give to someone else.
For now, I think I will try to get the rack set up on the back so I can use the top case. For that my current limiting factor is a bolt that is too short.
Thanks kp877. These are really close, but I need part number 90346-90 or 90346-94.
I wonder if I could make these work? $30 for two is much better than $43 each.
Looks like the end that attaches to the bag mount would be fine. But the end that attaches to the passenger peg looks like the hole is too small for the '92.
For the badlands module, get the one that says it can handle parade mode. I have a part number somewhere but it might take some time to find it.
eBay is your friend for obsolete parts
Memphis Shades is great for the windshield although their instructions could not be worse.
A fresh set of rings, cosmetic gaskets, dynatek ignition, rejet the carb, install new Torrington cam bearing along with an Andrews EV13 will do wonders for the engine. I had my heads milked for slightly more compression and to get the combustion chamber volume to be the same for smoother running.
Hey Prot good advice there.... But can you elaborate on how you milked your heads? Lol.....
