I know not everyone will like the look (most may hate it) but I needed a wind break....I was riding with a bud at around 80-85 an it felt like I was getting blown off the bike an the front end felt light above 80. I have a regular quick detach but don't care for the look an it's like pushing a billboard through the air so I ordered this. It take the wind off the body well, reduces pressure on the body so you're not fighting to stay on the bike at speed. It kicks some air up to the head area tho but it's better than before.
I've ridden several bikes with batwing fairings and they all buffet my helmet. You mentioned that some air is kicking up to your head, do you find it annoying?
it catches my beanie helmet so I find myself either ducking down a little or leaning back....there's about half an inch of up adjustment so I'm going to move it up an see if it's just enough to clean head. I haven't tried it with a FF yet so it may not be a big deal.
Memphis Shades makes good stuff. I hated the windshield and mounting system that came with my 95 Heritage. I sold that to TrailDog and replaced it with Memphis Shades and am much happier.
I recently lost a bolt from the lower trigger mount and am currently in the process of trying to get a replacement.

Looks good Lang, and whatever works for you is all that matters. Moving it up .5" will make a difference. Tilting the top forward (if able) will also deflect the wind higher.

Least that one looks better than a good many I have seen.
I thought I wanted a Wide Glide a few years ago. My Indy had a nice used one and I took it out to test ride.
Took off from the shop which is just off a state hwy. Hit 70 mph and turned around went back to the shop. Been to long riding with a good shield or fairing. Quickly remembered I like the bigger tire as well
