Nice. Thanks for the feedback on the bolt size. So yeah this is a little embarrassing to say but you guys were right...the two other bolts did fall out and when I cracked that primary open they were just resting on the bottom. One bolt is ok but the other is bent and the bolt tabs/clamps are bent up...yikes, I hope I didn't almost destroy something. Anyways first things first, in the morning I'm going to ACE getting heavy duty lock-tite, new bolts, and clamps so I can get this fixed asap. Thanks for the help.
Had to be leaking, like Tommy C said, check the flange where the big o-ring goes, look for cracks,
also make sure the 3/8" transmission to engine bolts are tight, as in very tight.
I'm just wondering how the hell the bolts fell out in the first place???? YD
Maybe the threads had oil on them when the Locktite was applied. The bolts & the holes must be thoroughly cleaned with Brakekleen & blown out with compressed air before Locktite is used as if any oil is present Locktite will not work.
if the bike is ridden hard it will happen again. i have used safety wire to to fasten them together and they do stay put, i also wire the inside two bolts as a precaution. works great

Seeing as how this thread is 4 years old I'm fairly certain he got it figured out.

I just did some inner primary/trans work on my bike.
I have the mechanical "bend tab" type bolt locks on the inner primary bolts that fasten to the engine and to the trans,. Except for the two on the outside that you can see. I think they are there for a reason. YD
