The best thing I've ever done to help with the starting of my bike is replace the stock ignition module with a Dynatek 2000P ignition module.

Why it helps I have no idea but the bike starts way easier with the Dynatec than it ever did with the stock module!!!

And yes I did switch back to the stock module just to see and once again it was hard to start again.

Adding a Throttle Mate to your stock throttle lock is helpful, or at least I've found it helpful.

I've got the throttle mate on mine. Man, I use that thing all day long when I ride.

Great suggestions everyone! Starts like a champ with the use of the lock! I'm looking into a throttle mate also.

They don't have a choke it is an enricher and works a lot different than a choke.
Warm your EVO up a bit ride a bit before you beat it and it will server you better.
The Enricher adds fuel a choke cuts down air to enrich fuel the mixture.

Yes we know...
The problem is you only ride it around your cul-de-sac so you can keep your bike clean!!!!

God forbid you actually ride it out on the road where it could get dirty!!!!!
