The baggers with dual front brakes use the 11/16ths MC.
Just remember to get a MC from a bagger that uses the same switch housings that your bike uses.
thanks Texas, that's awesome 👍

hey eight, the PM 4 piston caliper is also listed as a "bolt on caliper" but in the small print it then says for best performance use a 11/16th master cylinder....
is this the same for the Willwood? I'm interested in your experience.
Thanks

I have an `89 Heritage that originally came with a 5/8 bore master cylinder.

The OEM brakes were worthless.

The 5/8 bore is too big for a single disk setup, the factory realized this because in `96 the changed to a 9/16 bore master cyl, but kept the same caliper.

I changed my switches and controls to `96 and later parts (9/16" bore master cylinder), and threw the oem caliper in the trash.

My current setup is a 9/16" bore master cylinder and a Wilwood GP 310 Caliper.

I highly recommend this setup, this old bike finally has excellent front brakes.

Stock master cylinder and rotors are compatible per wilwood

I bought their black rotors ( for looks I guess) and retained my master

works great
more braking power, better lever feel and more precise modulation

hey eightyeight, any reason you choose Willwood over the PM 4 piston equivalent?
Are they considered better?
Thanks.
