By the way, here's a couple of nice pics here in Conway, beautiful country!
Oh, one more thing.. Being from the South, I feel compelled to give you "Yankee's" some love.. At least 3x today, I stopped to check messages, maps or grab a snack on the side of the road. Each time, someone stopped to check on me.. I dont stop much at home, but really didn't expect the love... Much respect!
Ahh I recognize some of that country!
Apologize for not tossing suggestions for grub stops in RI....busy day out most of it. Truth is...July/August, peak beach season, ANYthing coastal will have a line half around the building.
If you're still up in NH..you have a couple of my suggestions a page or so earlier for food.
By the way if you are heading into Maine try to schedule that during a weekday as well as leaving. Traffic on the weekends can be tough with all the tourists and weekenders coming and going up there. If by chance you make it into Augusta ME check out the Red Barn off of 201, great burgers and lobster rolls.

I noticed quite a bit of southbound traffic from Conway yesterday. Looks like I planned the timing right.. hope to be in Augusta for lunch, I'll check out the Red Barn and hopefully be in Ft Kent before dark.. no intention of riding at night. Too much to see, especially animals! Haha.. thanks again!
Ok, wouldn't you know, the Red Barn is closed 1 day a week.. wanna guess which one? Haha.... open to other suggestions. I'll be taking 2 out of NH to 95N, all the way to Houlton.
Ah, it's all good..... well, I did Mt Washington. Wow! Well, I puss'd out at about 5500' because it was 50mpH winds and looked like it was going to storm.. I turned around after the dirt section because I didn't wa t to do it wet.... Awesome experience, just wish the weather was better.. from there, fantastic weather and ride to Augusta. Got to roll it on on 95N and am kicking back in a shitty motel after a shitty diner dinner.. but, all is well, great day!
